Hello,

I’ve found a screaming deal on some LT255/65R17 BFG KO2, looking at the sizes, they are a taller/slightly narrower tire which should work when compared against the 285 everyone is running. The question I have is, these have a slightly lower weight rating at 108s vs the stock 115s. Looking for some help understanding if there’s an actual issue here or not. Any help would be great.

Hey, so from what I've gleamed from the limited reading I can do at work with restricted internet access is that the load difference between the tires is about 460lbs. So instead of the max payload being 2680lbs, you're looking at a max of 2205lbs. My thinking is that if you don't plan on adding much weight/towing much, the lower load size should be fine.

Just add up the weight of everything currently and as long as you're below the 2200lbs you should be good to drive. Hope this helps!
