Slowly but surely.
Just got the truck back from tint. Went ceramic at 20% on all windows aside from the front windshield. Left that stock.
STEK PPF on entire front end, a-pillars, door cups, and bottom of doors and rocker panels all the way back to the rear fender.
De-badged the entire truck. I love the clean look and don't really care about advertising the fact that it's a TRD Off-Road.
Also got the little console organizer thing, but nobody needs a picture of that.
Future upgrades are as follows:
- @Screen Protech kit. Just landed in the mail today.
- Wheels and tires should be somewhat soonish, but I decided to change my order from the Method 316 +25mm offset in matte black to the gloss titanium which is sort of a gunmetal color. It looks absolutely killer on the silver. If I decide to go +35mm offset instead of the +25mm offset, I'll be switching to the Method 705 in matte titanium. I have the long weekend to decide. It's torture. Tires are 285/70/17 KO3.
- Canopy/topper. Leaning towards SnugTop as, from what I can tell, people seem to think the build and components are a bit better than ARE and LEER.
'- Sliders. Leaning towards RCI with the 20º angle. I've never had the 20º angle on any of my previous sliders, but I think they look cool and different.
- Skid plates. Also leaning towards RCI.
- Suspension all around. I've had Icon, King and Old Man Emu on my previous Tacomas and of the three, I much preferred the Old Man Emu. I had the Icon Stage 2 on my Gen 3 Tacoma and loved the ride, but had some issues. That's another topic entirely. Anyway, I'll wait until the canopy is on to see how the weight affects the ride height and go from there.
- Beat-Sonic Encore Alpha amplifier. Need my death metal to sound a bit better than it does with the stock JBL setup.
That's all for now. Been over at Tacoma World for years and I love it, but it's nice to have both. Thanks for all the help so far!
