There are multiple threads concerning install of the EKR Seat Covers so I won't bore you with the details of the install. It wasn't too hard. I spent about 4 hours in total doing the install but I was really taking my time and trying to get them just right. I'm quite happy with the result. I have to say that this video was an amazing help. The best part was that I managed to avoid cutting myself on the sharp edges under the seat!!!
Amazon only had the black covers in stock and I wanted the covers that closely match the existing OR seats so I purchased them directly from EKR. I got an 8% discount from a code someone on the forum here had posted, no shipping and no sales tax so the total price was actually less than purchasing from Amazon. I bought the M456, Black and Gray. The colors are perfect. They were out of stock but I was in no rush and the communication was great. They contacted me to let me know about a ~3 week lead time and offered to ship me the solid black ones, which I declined, and then I got a couple of other follow up emails. All in all, I'm very happy with them. I'm not crazy about the contrasting piping but I knew that when I ordered them and I'll get used to it. I considered having them custom made w/o the piping but at almost double the cost I think I'm perfectly happy with them as is. They do have a version w/o piping but it's their "Coverdream" leather (*sic) and in my communications with the service rep she said that particular material was a step down from the higher end "EKR" leather. None of it is real leather so it kind of bugs me they call it as such, but that's just me...
The only other little nit to pick is that there is no hole on the upper back seat cover for the strap button. Did other's covers come with the holes? I'm going to ping EKR and see if somehow they were just missed on my build. It's not the end of the world but the bottom cushion definitely won't stay up on it's own so it seems odd to miss that detail when the rest of the covers are so nice.
I even installed the center console cover, although I think that's probably an afterthought and probably not custom fitted for our trucks. I may or may not leave it on but it's fine for now. IMHO it actually fits better than I expected. I wasn't ordering a cover for the center console anyway so I'm pretty ambivalent about it.
Missing the button hole for the strap (on both sides). That's my only gripe. Other than that, they're great...
Meh. I may not keep the console cover on...
