New member in southern VT

Hello, everyone. I am thankful I found this site. It helped a lot with research before I purchased my new truck at the end of November. I’m just getting around to posting now. This is my fourth Taco. I really wanted a long bed, and was pretty limited in my color choices, and having come from an OR and never using the rear diff lock once in seven years, I felt like I could downgrade to a Sport and got a great deal on it. Ideally, I wanted a long bed and the hybrid drivetrain, but I just couldn’t spend Trailhunter money. The pic is the day I got it and it’ll never look that way again given all the dirt roads around here. And, I hope the upside down Sirius decal isn’t an indicator of overall quality! It’s been great learning from folks here. This site seems calmer than others, and I like that. Wishing everyone a safe, happy and healthy 2025.

Welcome, and nice truck. I’m on my second Sport. Not a downgrade from the OR, just a better highway rig LOL. Sport owners are a cult within a cult! You are right, this is the best forum site out there and some room for a fun rivalry between the other style Taco owners without getting mean or personal.

Good point! And, I’m mostly highway. It’s my daily driver and I commute about 50 miles each workday. Thanks for the welcome.

I love the color, though here in farm country, it does show the dust. I guess the amount of dust we have would show on just about anything though. LOL
