Trying to find spots I can legally cut some wood before next spring rolls around, planned to go out with my buddy this Sunday, didn't expect to get hit with as much snow as we did but it worked out in our favor and gave us a lot of fun. These things really love to get sideways, in 2WD and 4WD.

Had to cross a sketchy hardly frozen march pond probably a good 5ft deep. Got across it perfectly fine but decided in good faith to return home on another trail, didn't want to chance either Tacoma going for a swim lol.

After we passed that, we cut down a narrow and bumpy OHV trail. Going in was great, we had to pass over a marshy area that was frozen. I got over it fine, my friend got over it fine but did break through a little. On our way back I was leading and ended up getting over it without issue but definitely left it in bad shape for my buddy to get passed. Sure enough, sunk right in. High centered the truck completely.

Towing someone out with a manual isn't fun, but we got it done. Couldn't pull him though it so had to turn around and pull him from behind.

Before anyone says it, yes I'm towing from the hitch. Yes, I know it's INCREDIBLY dangerous. I thought he had shackles with him, turns out he didn't. I just ordered a pair for myself to store in my truck. I'd rather not have a ball hitch come flying back at either of us. Never would I have done it if it wasn't for the pinch we were in.

Anyways, I'm no photographer, but enjoy the few photos and videos I did manage to snap.

Also, I love these Tacoma. Absolutely amazing trail beaters. Who needs an ATV or UTV when you got a Tacoma!
