As I’ve mentioned before on another post; I’ve waited

So I finally caved and reached out to the salesman who sold me my first Taco, 17 years ago. I called it BluStreak and wasted no time upgrading it. I equipped it with a TRD Supercharger, switched out the front & rear lights to Black LED Halos and changed out the stock 17" TRD Sport rims with a set of 20” Chrome KMC Skitch. I’ve gotta say, chrome rims look smokin’ hot when it’s cleaned/ buffed out but it is EXTREMELY high maintenance! I kept the chrome rims for at least 10 years until one of them finally cracked before I bought something else. I ended up getting a set of American Racing Wheels AR893 Mainline, glossed black machined. (Looks great even when it’s dirtied, lol.)
Front View - 2008 TRD Sport w/ racing stripes painted at Galpin Auto Sports (GAS) located in Van Nuys, CA (this was featured on Pimp my Ride from the early 2000s). When I relocated to Los Angeles, CA in 2009 for work, I always dreamt of getting my car painted or worked on at GAS.

(Sorry, got a little side tracked walking down memory lane…OK, back on point.

Sadly, that man passed away a couple of years ago. So all his clients were given to a new GM. I gave him my list of DOs and DON’Ts and he promised to get back to me soon. Days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months, and months turned to a year with 0 results. So I did a little research myself and found a Pro up in Dallas with very few Dealer add-ons and just a thousand over MSRP. With everything that’s going on with Trump’s 25% tariffs going into effect April 2nd. I figured NOW was the best time to throw caution to the wind and buy the dang truck!
This date will forever be etched in my mind, "I was no fool to buy it on April Fool's Day 2025!"

In the end, I couldn’t bring myself to sell or trade “BluStreak” when I bought my 4th gen.
I believe “All things happen for a reason.”
And at that same moment, my dad’s “work car” died of old age. He was in desperate need of a new car and he thought long and hard about selling his baby, the AE86. I told him, “don’t sell your baby, you can have my "old baby" (aka BluStreak) instead.

First of many mods I’ve added to the truck so far:
1) Canadian OEM mud flaps
2) Charvonia Designs tie down anchors
3) Added Muslogy products: Center Console Organizer/ Front & Rear cupholders/ Hidden storage box
4) Ainope: smallest USB-A charger
5) Smeyta: novelty stickers for blank buttons. Kinda scared my friend w/ the Eject button!

6) Tufskinz TRD Pro seat lettering inserts: these make it look as if it was always meant to be
7) TRD Cast Aluminum Running Boards - so much better than trying to "jungle gym" my way into the truck, lol.
8) Screen Protech kit
9) Side storage LED lantern
10) Bobbercycle: tailgate anti-theft lock
Upcoming mods:
1) Spectra Photosync 30% tint (will install this coming Wednesday)
2) Will install Garmin Mini Dash Cam 3 (after window tint)
I'm gonna pace myself and get these installed in the coming months...
3) AlphaRex Black/ Red taillights
4) Fang lights
5) SPV - rear Rigid bumper lights
