We've had a fair bit of snow lately,
While driving my sensors keep getting covered in snow and I'm getting very annoying warnings about the systems going offline, I keep clearing them but they keep flashing. These warnings are a distraction while driving.... are any of you having the same issues

This has been a problem with all of my Toyotas with these sensors. The best way to stop it is to turn them off during a drive through a snow storm.

BTW - you will have to turn them off if you go through a car wash too. If you don't, they light up your dashboard like a Christmas tree and in a worst case event, can apply the brakes if they sense the brush in front of the car. That never happened to me but I've always been worried it might someday. :)

Most vehicles with "safety sensors" go wacko when covered in snow, dirt and some have issues with morining dew...

I just wish I could clear it without turning everything off, even if I had to clear it the next drive when I started it again

Yes. Happened to me this week as well. Pretty much count on losing all the adaptive features in heavy snow or ice. I will be cutting off the Park assist next time for sure

It happened to me once when it was brand new in a snow storm. Otherwise, lately its been covered slightly and havent had it go off since that first trip.
