Power Tailgate/ lasfit tailgate mat

Just found out the Lasfit tailgate mat says on website it wont fire trucks with power tailgates? Kind of odd am i missing somthing ?
Really like this tailgate mat , does anybody have this tailgate mat, that has a power tailgates? Cant understand why it wouldnt work….
The other option would be if anybody has a tailgate mat with a power tailgate…what brand did you go with
