These would look great if they were actually anodized aluminum, or if they were made with premium rubber. I love the digital screens on the AC/Heat and the Drive mode knob placement is way better than in the ceiling like the 3rd gen trd pro models but....faux screws?

Do they at least feel like they are quality?

They feel just fine for the amount of times you'll ever touch them lol. Had the truck for 15,000km now and I've only pressed them a handful of times

Compared to what? Like A Rolex watch? Milspec? How about a dial in Russian submarine? It’s a knob of the finest Japanese quality. Cutting edge 2024 plastic. The quality of the dial/switch that is being used/touched/turned momentarily not often or repeatedly is rugged enough to last the lifetime of the vehicle. Its not a joy stick! You want brushed aluminum with titanium screws and premium pure rubber grip? Yah that would be a nice touch but is it going to stop you from getting the Gen 4? Are you jealous? Last generation Tacoma got you down? I always feel that way as well when something better comes out makes what you have feel old and outdated. It’s feels so good to have the latest and greatest. Do I at least feel my quality of life has improved…….a faux mind set…….nah its a confidence boost oh wait that’s turbo boost!

The switchgear feels just fine. I think the 4WD shifter is a little quirky in my opinion, and the radio volume knob is small and without any kind of grippy material. Otherwise, I like how everything feels and functions. Its not as bad as your thinking.

That is what I want actually. Lol. Anodized aluminum, torx adjustment screws, knurling, grippy and rubberized, high quality knobs and buttons. If anyone makes these aftermarket parts, ill be glad to be their first customer.
