Hello,

I went with the RC Tri-Fold bed cover for my TRD OR. Installed it by myself and only took an hour but half of that was trying to figure out what the instructions were trying to say. I installed it in December and hasn’t caused any problems. Cheers!

Edit: I will say one thing, couldn’t really figure out how I’m going to get the drain tubes to do there thing, the holes in the bed are too small. If anyone has any advice on that feel free to drop below.

Well, if I were you, I'd drill holes right in the corners of the bed, a bit smaller than the tubing OD, and push the tubes about 2" though into those holes.

Check the bottom of your bed before you drill any holes. It almost entirely visible if you don't mind lying on your back under your truck. I drilled another hole in mine just so I would have drains closer to the outside of the bed.

My Diamondback doesn't have drain tubes, but not having bed drain holes in the corners is not a good thing.

We installed one of these on my dad’s 24 GMC 1500 Denali and much like every after market part purchased for my 24 Taco engineering is done in another country and the methodology of installation is altering. Every aftermarket purchase I have installed is completely different from the videos and especially instructional information sent. Some even lack all the parts. The easiest install was the little dash storage that fits over the multi media screen.

I bought the same cover. I just drilled out the existing holes to make them slightly larger so the drain tubes fit right in. No problems.

Yeah, what TxGlenn said. I have the RC low profile top but it has the same drains. I drilled out the holes a bit and squeezed pipe into it. It’s a composite bed so drilling is quite easy.

We did the drains through the existing holes in the corner post of my Dads GMC.

Is there any specific drill bit I need to use? Definitely new to the whole modifying and doing work on my own vehicles so I’m still learning lol

In my opinion, if you are not flush with drill bit kits then I would buy a unibit.

I don't think it really matters especially since you are just enlarging an existing hole versus drilling a new one. Just find a bit slightly smaller than the tube and the tube should fit snug.
