google adhesive felt sheets. cut one and see if it fits. probably won't stand out too much.
I haven't done anything with mine yet just living with the scarring and adding to it lol. I think I'm going to look into something like this or like a carbon fiber type print sheet of some material to stick onto the pillar. In the middle of finalizing a move across the country so I haven't had time to deal with it yet.

I didn’t notice the scarring on the panel but hated the noise the passenger seat belt buckle made flopping when I drove with the windows down. I bought some black 3M Command strips and put one side on the panel and the other on the buckle, no more noise from hitting against each other or scarring.

i ordered the leather covers off IG will report back when i get em
those leather covers do not fit they r made for flat s/b . 24 tacoma have a large plastic knuckle on them . I did add sheepskin covers to the belts & that stops the violent return of the buckle .
