That's what I'll need to confirm, you may be correct.
TRD pro msrp is $48k here's the price with options for the TRD off road speced out similar to the pro. Keep in mind you still have to pay labor to get that lift kit installed.

That's the 2023 model price. We don't yet know if (how much) the pricing will change. I would expect the gap between the TRDOR and the Pro to grow, given the additional features of the Pro for 2024, like the seats. But it's all speculation at this point.

It's really hard to say where the 24 prices end up. If you look at the Tundra as a measuring stick everything went up about the same across the board I think so I am guessing Tacoma will be a similar price bump but the hybrid powertrain and those isodynamic seats won't be free.

I think you're right. I think the difference between the Pro and the TRDOR with the hybrid engine would be fairly similar, except those seats are going to be the wildcard here. If they aren't optional, we might reach price parity between the loaded OR with the lift kit and the Pro. In which case, I think you're going to have a fair number of people choose the OR for the extra leg room, which should make it a little easier for Pro buyers to get the one they want.
It'll certainly be worth watching both and verifying everything before you purchase.

Short bed will maneuver easier on trails, but long bed will haul more gear. I know it's only 12", but that's alot in the grand scheme of overlanding. Decisions, decisions ... at least I like the color
I’m the same way. The long bed barely fits in my garage but I find a 5’ bed just this side of useless. I’m my dream world they would offer a Trail Hunter Xtracab. I don’t need a back seat. (And I don’t want a stripped down SR)

The seats will he the main wild card. But other aspects are the type of suspension (bilstein vs fox qs3?) And suspension valving. Grills (basic with generic fogs vs heritage with rigid light bar and fogs). Under armor (I believe composit vs aluminum? I may be wrong on material). Air dam. And I'm sure some oth smaller/minor differences. Either way, everyone gonna have to check the different build outs and options to know what suits them.

Most of those sorts of differences already exist between the two grades, so it's not unreasonable to suspect that the price difference in those components will remain approximately the same, but all of this will certainly be a lot easier when we have actual pricing details.
