Doesn’t seem like there have been many ships leaving from Veracruz to the Newark port. Hopefully that changes soon cause my truck has been stuck in Veracruz for a month or so.

Thanks Steve for your Help.@24 Taco Just got your coffee donation but I can't figure out how to reply in that format. Your truck is at the port of Veracruz and has been there since 2/17. It is on hold. Team Toyota is the dealer for this.

The trucks built in Central Mexico are sent by ship. There are two ports... one on the East and one on the West coast of Mexico, depending on the destination. The trucks built in Tijuana are trucked across the border and sent by truck or train to their destinations.
I don't know which port is used by the San Francisco Region but it is likely Oakland. That's a regional thing though. Here in the Central Atlantic Toyota region, all of ours go to the port of New York (actually in NJ) and the trains go to either Annapolis or Petersburg.
Thanks, they told me they have no idea what's going on. LolHmmm... this is a weird one. It was built on 2/14 at the TJ plant which should be a VERY fast turn around since it is going to a San Diego dealership. It is not on hold but for some reason is being trucked from the processing facility to "Omesa Mexicana Logistics" which I have I no idea what that is. I'd call your dealer and see if they have any idea what the process is for that region.

Back with an update. Got an unfortunate message from the dealer this morning that it didn't pass inspection and has to be sent down to their central Toyota facility to get it taken care of. I was told the issue was with a Body Sealer either missing or did not pass. No ETA was given at this time but was told it could be another 45-60 days.I hope you've got time this afternoon. It is on a truck on its way to your dealer. Although, oddly, it is still showing as being on hold. It shouldn't be on the way to a dealer while on hold so you'll have to update me when that gets sorted out.

Didn't pass inspection?? Isn't this something they do before releasing vehicles from the plant? Question for Steve.Back with an update.
