Tailgate getting stuck

Ive had my TRD OR (non power tailgate) for a few weeks now and just tried to open the tailgate for the first time and had to force open it. Once i got it opened and worked the latch mechanism a few cycles it seemed to have gotten better but its not a smooth pull lever open right away feel, it has a bit of a snag just as you pull the latch. Anyone else experience this?

It's happened to mine a couple times too now. I noticed the tailgate shifted to the right and had to pull it to the left so it wouldn't bind on the right side. I'm going to have to take it back to the dealership to show them. Kind of frustrating as it may cause some wear. Or if someone tries to open and pulls too hard something has to give. If it happens again I'll put in some pics

Yeah mine has been doing this as well. About to take it in for the 20,000 mile service and will have them look at it and apply fixes to any recalls.
