Tailgate mat recommendations?

I'm looking for a tailgate mat for a 24 Tacoma with a power. Lasfit said they have one designed for the power. It's too thick, the screws won't attach to the tailgate.

This came up awhile back, i myself really liked the Lasfit quality and look, they told me it wont fit power tailgate…i posted the question here and several guys installed the normal tailgate mat with no issue

I tried the nonpowered tailgate mat. The tailgate would not close all the way. Lasfit sent one that they said was redesigned for the power tailgate. It's too thick too, the screws won't attach to the tailgate.

I highly recommend Billy Barr's (sp) tailgate cover with cup holders. They make the tailgate flat so you can set things on them and the cup holders are optional so you can have a flat mat or flat mat with cup holders in them when you have the tailgate down. I love mine! Easy install

I have the tripleA liners tailgate mat and power Tailgate and have not had any issues.

I don't understand why 2 of won't fit. Both seem too thick, the first one the tailgate won't close, the second one the screws are too short. I'm waiting to hear back from Lasfit.

If screws are to short maybe some longer torx will fit you may just need an, 1/8 “ to a 1/16 th. To make contact ? Just a thought. Good luck, keep us posted

I have TrippleA’s bedliner and tailgate mat. No problems with the mat thickness for the tailgate liner. I did have problems with the bedliner, but I have factory/dealer spray-on liner that added an additional thickness. Just enough that I couldn’t get the bedliner screws through both. Also, I don’t have the power tailgate.

Look up mountain hatch. They make a great tailgate mat out of food grade material like cutting boards. It works on the power tailgate for the new Tacoma.
