Curious if anyone has purchased their new tire and wheel packages online and if so what retailer they went with. I live in a small town so no one is going to have any stock. No Discount Tires anywhere near me, which is who I used in the past on my Jeep Wrangler. I was going to go through Tire Rack but for some reason it won't allow me to choose an offset other than +35mm.

Looking to get the KO2's with Method wheels, as per usual around here. Thanks!

I have a set of tires waiting to go on a TRD Sport, which unfortunately has not yet arrived. No news in a couple weeks and it's driving me crazy!

I bought the tires from Discount Tire Direct a little over a couple weeks ago, through their eBay seller account. The only reason I did it this way was to take advantage of a coupon/sale at eBay for 20% off. The tires arrived at my house the day after I bought them and that's with free shipping.

I wanted to get some new wheels, and I'm partial to black, but there really isn't much I find attractive in the 18" stock size right now with an offset that wouldn't poke out too much, so I am going to get the 18" TRD wheels from the dealer when the truck arrives. Otherwise, I would have bought wheels and tires at the same time. I debated going down to 17" wheels and tires for the better wheel selection, but ultimately decided to stick with the 18" stock size.

Following the lead of one or two people on this forum, I contacted the dealer one more time to ask again if I could get in touch with the used car guy about selling my stock wheels and tires. The first time I asked the guy handling my purchase said no, but I guess he actually talked to the used car guy this time and said they would work something out. I don't know what I'll get, but I prefer that to trying to sell them myself and dealing with random potential buyers. The dealer will just take my new tires, put them on the 18" TRD wheels and I'll be good to go.

I had a great experience from the Discount Tire team, and would recommend them. I had questions answered by them via PM on this forum (Thanks Jordan!), as well as over the phone.
