Replacing brand new tires seems strange to me but I might just have to. I am considering Toyo open country A/T3s or maybe General grabber A/Tx because they're a little lighter. Didn't realize there was so many choices. BFG, Duratrac, Michelin, Cooper, Falken...how is anyone supposed to decide?
I went through this last spring when replacing the Trail Terrains. I went with Falken Wildpeaks because they seemed to do ok on everything and weren't as heavy as the KO3s (at least in sizes and load rating that were available at that time).

At any rate, I just watched this nice review on TireRack and you might find it helpful. I don't think they have the snow tests on YouTube yet, but you might have a look.
