TRD Sport - Added Tonneau Cover & a Nice Surprise

Our weather finally improved so it seemed like a good time to install the tonneau cover ordered from ebay a couple of weeks ago. This was truly nothing fancy, just a soft tri-fold which cost about $175, to see how I like having a cover before potentially splurging for something more high quality in the future. The install was extremely simple, but I did discover a missing screw that should prove to be minor in the future (knock on wood). On my first drive after the install, I was surprised with a 3.1 mpg boost (up to 21 mpg)...this is with 285/70/18s on as well. Overall, the cover should do the job, added some mpg's and looks pretty good in my opinion! Next mod, wheels?

Cover looks great and for a good price. I had a soft cover on my Gen 3 for four years and no issues. I put a hard cover on my Gen 4 Sport only for the added security on PA to FL trips with a hotel stop. You will definitely get better gas mileage and I noticed less wind turbulence with nearby trucks or crossing bridges with the cover on.
