Do you wax your Taco before the winter? Do you hand wash your Taco outside if the reel feel is under 0 Celsius ? What everybody does to keep it in good shape?

I wax before winter then wash when it gets dirty.. I can wash it in my shop or do it outside. I have hot water I can use outside in winter

I put ceramic on in the fall, which keeps it pretty clean even after driving in the rain.

When it gets driven in road salt I spray it off top to bottom at a car wash. I do the same thing when it gets muddy on trails.

Whatā€™s this wash thing you speak of? I should get rain soon in the next month šŸ˜‚
Good point! I never wash my truck when the temps are below freezing - that might cause more problems than the crud on the truck.

The temp are like 4 degreesoutside and reel feel -10c, as soon as I finished my car I stored and dry eat in my garage that is 8degres and has a dehumidifier. You think it is gonna hurt the car? I donā€™t let it outside freezing and the water donā€™t freeze in the car during the washing sessions.
So whatā€™s your advised? They are welcome because I wanted to wash it tomorrow and after wax it in my garage.
Thanks

@Rick97 It sounds like you are fine, I just meant spraying water on your truck when temps are well below freezing, and the spray freezes on your truck. At 8c you should be fine. I never tried wax at such a low temp, but maybe someone else has.

Iā€™ve used spray wax around 10Ā°c before and it doesnā€™t apply well, that being said itā€™s -22Ā°c here today and thereā€™s zero chance Iā€™m cleaning my vehicle in the next month lol

I am a fan of Griots products, they work and price is reasonable. Also their website offers good tips and how-to videos. I am old school, I am sure the new ceramic products are great, but I stick to old fashioned carnauba waxes. I use Griots Best in Show for a good coat before winter and about every 3 months. In between I use Griots Best in Show spray wax. It takes me about 20 minutes to go around the truck with the spray wax. Even in the dead of winter I can usually find a 30 degree day and the spray still applies well at this temperature. In the spring I hit it with clay then new coat of wax.
