Hey Taco Owners!
This'll be my first post! I've been lurking on here for a while and I noticed there wasn't a lot of posts regarding aftermarket mounting kits aside from 3D-Prints and the SDHQ mount. I decided to take the plunge and buy the bracket from ZRoadz. I originally had a compressor on my last truck (F-150) and I've felt 'naked' since I bought my Tacoma. I had a flat tire within the first 50 miles of owning this truck. (Not kidding lol) I have a TRD Off Road 6ft bed with factory aux switches. The instructions were detailed and come with all the accessories you need plus a new hood prop to install your compressor, whether it be single or dual. (I installed a dual compressor) It took me a couple hours to install. It's a very tight fit but everything fell into place. Take your time and read the instructions carefully! I missed a few steps during the install, and I had to remove it a couple times.
Hybrid owners, it appears this bracket does not fit your trucks...![Frown  ](/forum/styles/smilies/frown.gif)
I linked the guides I used to help with wiring. I ended up scrapping the majority of the ARB harness except for the main power and switch wire because I do not plan to run air lockers. Wife & I 4WD has a simple wiring video where you can use part of the switch wiring (with diode from harness) for simple on/off function. I wired it to AUX 1 on my factory AUX switch.
Overall, it's been holding in place and it's given me a good piece of mind that I have onboard air! Hope this shed some light on the compressor mount.![Cool  ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
