Borrowed my buddies pop-up and rolled out to Daytona’s infield for the Rolex 24hr race. One of the colder 24’s ive been to. We saw very few 4G’s about and not a single TH or TRD. However, the 3G/2G taco’s were there in full force.
Not my first visit to the race - appreciated a few of the features/creature comforts the TH offered. Although not unique to the taco or trim, they really felt well suited to the trip and worth a mention.
- Hybrid creeping in camp when we’d come back from the bar late felt very courteous to my fellow campers — it did draw puzzled looks though.
-DRL’s offer good visibility without blinding your fellow campers.
-Those bedlights can and did light our camp quite well.
-The acoustic glass was a welcome respite from the lapping cars.
-The heated seats and wheel were also welcome in the low40/high30 degree temps. From south Fl, so yes it was cold.
- That little JBL speaker thumps— nice to have a charged BT speaker always at the ready.
- The bed electrical outlet meant our cuban coffee was now a tailgating activity.
It towed the pop up happily at 70-80 with no issue what so ever. Looking forward to Sebring 12hr in March!
