As the title states, I have a 2024 SR5. Ive read that the block heater is apparently installed in Canada. I live in interior Alaska, and was told by the dealer they stopped installing it due to fires, but installed an oil pan heater and battery heater, which by all means could have the same potential to short out, which i think is dumb.
So to that end, It seems the part exists, but i cant find any part numbers. If someone has the part number available, id appreciate that.
Im gonna look later when i get the truck indoors and thawed out, but does anyone know, who may have one, if it also has the hole slot in the engine like the previous generations. Thank you.
P.S. Im not worried about the warranty. The engine will not burn down. Im a 100% sure of that, regardless of what they say. Thats why you install it on a circuit breaker.
