I think one of the most irritating things I've experienced in having this new to me truck is that every time I start it, I have to hit the button to turn off the auto start/stop. I didn't have this feature in '24 Camry when I had it and definitely not in my '05 Sequoia.

Just wondering if anyone has changed the button out to a switch that can be flicked once and left in that position to keep the feature off, similar to other vehicles have so people have the choice. I'm in an SR5 if that helps, definitely have plenty of open spots to put the switch. Or if there's a setting I've missed in the menus that disables the feature permanently.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you so much, guess I didn’t look in the right places for it.
