Color matched exterior door handles - part numbers #?

Has anyone swapped door handles out with OEM to dechrome? Not the overlays.

and for those with the overlay covers or wrap, how have the held up?

they do have the mirror caps i was looking for & they have unpainted door handle caps in matt black at reasonably priced level Sooo ThanX

I got my mirror caps from toyota, they weren't that expensive. Maybe $85 for both.

Looks great. How do you like the ones from Rave? And those are the ones that cover just the fronts? So are these the $55 or $355 ones? Assuming you have a limited so it just covers up the chrome? I’ve seen others that cover the entire handle.

I've yet to find one that isn't a crappy looking vinyl sticker on a black or chrome overlay. Fully painted or bust

$55 r unpainted with a high gloss black color that exactly matches the color of all the stock exterior plastic but gloss not mat which as u can see looks bad a$$
Any color Tacoma would look great with black handles & mirrors
oem style u remove the stock ones with heat , stuck on with what looks like hot glue , pull the 3m strips off the new & stick on .covers the whole handle & is Not a cover it is a replacement as have to remove the stock cover
if I had not done the wrap I would have replaced the mirror covers as well and probably will anyway down the line as those r the same finish
wrap guy wanted $200 for the handles to b wrapped , the Rave $55 & they came 3 days after ordering. usa company too !

yeah the Rave handles look exactly like the stock ones in every way , even the packaging looked oem . I was very very happy with them & will get the mirror pieces as well. The handles r mostly steel under these covers a very stout looking assy

No that's a RS5 the mirrors & door handles were painted celestial silver . It's a rwd long bed kinda rare bird . I dont need a 4 wheeler anymore , pavement princess 4 sure

oh that’s awesome, I was figuring it was over the OEM handle, love how it is a replacement. Great to hear you can get the old one off by heat gun. I’m in the market for a limited and absolutely don’t want the chrome!
