This is starting to make the rounds on the forum. The fit is perfect, and it integrates seamlessly with the rest of the cab. This will suit my needs, but I understand some folks may want a more robust (and expensive) version. The best part is that, being plastic, I can modify it for the items I want to use. Plus, if you screw it up, the replacement cost isn't too painful.

To each their own, but I don't like the threaded mounts in that. They look out of place in the design.

that's pretty epic. I love the extra storage. I bought one similar to this but it doesn't have the threads for mounts. I suppose you could just thread some holes yourself if you wanted. it's a little bit cheaper and a little bit bigger than the one you shared. https://a.co/d/5RPh4XI

as far as I can tell it doesn't bolt in, just slides over the screen, held by gravity. That really limits what you can mount to it without it ripping the whole thing off the dash if you go over a bump. It also places additional stress on the screen itself.

sure its cheap but I wouldn't trust it holding up a tablet or radio.

The fit is snug, and the force applied to the screen is minimal, as the design appears to distribute the weight across the entire unit. Naturally, if you overload it with radios, phone mounts, and associated hardware, it likely won't function as desired. As for me, my needs are minimal, so it will work just fine.
