I was wondering if anyone with the Hybrid was able to fit the Rago front bumper. On the Rago website, it mentions not compatible with Hybrid. I spoke with the sale team and they said there is additional equipment on the Hybrid that prevents fitment. They were just regurgitating what the website says. I asked to speak with someone on the technical team and I'm expecting a call back. I don't see any additional hardware for the hybrid on the front bumper area of the truck. Maybe I'm missing something? Does anyone have any insight on this?

4th Gen Tacoma Winch Front Bumper | Low Profile | Rago

I like the Rago for the Warn Zeon winch option, fitment and style(minus overbranding) for this.

So, Rago got back to me. They said they never tested the bumper on a hybrid and that's why its listed on their website that way. They gave me a great discount to try it out, so I am going in that direction. Ill report back once I install it.

Please do, I like that bumper as well. I'm a little curious why it's 1300 as well. Seems very similar to other designs that are half the price

I agree it's priced a bit higher than most. What I was after included:
-Warn Zeon size winch capability - most of the stealth/pike type bumpers don't allow for the width of the Zeon width of 24"
-Intergrated coverage of the fog light - All the stealth/pike type bumpers don't cover this area. When you move up to most full coverage bumpers, you then need to cut that section out and remove a section of the shutters. The price also jumps up with fabricators like CBI to over $1000.
-prefinished - C4 doesn't finish their bumper. So, there's additional cost involved there. I do love the C4 and would have finished it but turns out it doesn't allow for the Zeon size winch.

Keep in mind, you can get 10% off on Rago through their website when you sign in. As of last week, that was an option. I was able to get more than that off because I am fitting it for them.

I can attest that the Pike Bumper from RCI will allow the fitment of a Zeon 10.. only had to relocate the hybrid “pedestrian speaker”. The width was not an issue.

I just ordered the CBI Covert front bumper. Similar but only $1040 on their website. I looked at the Rago, it's a badass looking bumper. Please keep us posted if it works.

I'm just going with a Warn Evo 10 I believe. It's only for emergency not weekend use, unless these are junk and I'm just not aware of issues. I wish more of the bumpers would be offered raw. I'd like the option to do my own thing with paint or powder. Keep us updated I'm a bit out on ordering one. I've already dropped a few k on this truck amd about to book another hunting trip. Don't need to get too much shit from the resident accountant lol

That's great to hear. Awesome bumper. When I talked with RCI, they said it wouldn't fit. These companies are selling themselves short advertising otherwise. Their website explicitly says it wouldn't fit.

You would think that they would offer a free bumper for a certain model owner to test fit it on their vehicle in their shop. For the $600 or so that it would cost them to provide the bumper vs the lost revenue not selling to hybrid, TH or Pro owners would be a smart business move.

My issue with any of the bumpers that require cutting is clear in the pics from their website. It looks like a hack job to me. The gaps aren't straight or even and it varies. I'm not cutting up 6k in factory parts to be tied to one type of bolt on part. If I was building a straight up ranch vehicle from a new one I still wouldn't consider this. It just seems like a " jeep thing" to accept the engineering from any manufacturer that can't design a bolt on item to fit within the design format of the vehicle. I've bolted bumpers, brush guards, grills, winches, cranes etc to class 6 trucks or 3/4 ton work trucks and ne er gotten out the Sawzall to do so.

Agreed. Although I blame those cuts(as you mentioned) on the installer. They must perform under the the "never measure, cut once" philosophy. They should have measured, then rough cut long and fine sand to perfection.

I'm not going to blame the installer too much, mine would look worse lol. That's why I don't want to cut it.

Cut my own,, albeit it’s not the same bumper as the above pics. The Pike cuts are simple and clean
