Toyota just had this Supersonic Red 2024 Tacoma Limited out on display at the Toyota Takeover Weekend @ Vail.

I've assumed their approach was to market the higher trims more, squeeze as much $ as they can get from people, as they know most people who want a TRD but are less inclined to spend a soul on top trim will aim more for the OR. I can't think of any other reason but if you got some different speculation on it I'd live to hear.
