How to split screen on 14" Multimedia display screen?

Does anyone know if you can do a split screen with the 14" display? Such as being able to see navigation and radio at the same time. On my 2015 Gen2 Sport model I could do it but haven't been able to figure it out on this display. Any help would be appreciated.

I dont think you can. I have searched for hours trying to do this. Such a shame on a huge display like this.

Andriod auto for sure or I think apple car play can too.

With Android auto you can. I don't know how, it just randomly pops up, and the right screen has tabs to scroll through other windows.

when using Android Auto I can go into the settings and you can select map or audio close to driver side. I have Audio close to drive and Map on the other side

Of course you can with AA or CP, were talking about the native Toyota system built in NAV/Audio/etc. Which doesn't have that capability.

Oh yah I don't have that. I'm not paying Toyota a subscription for drive connect/nav they already took too much of my money haha.

Actually if you have a 24 Tacoma you do have it. You may not want it or use it but your running the same OS as everyone.

In CarPlay there is a button in the bottom left to change the layout to split screen. I was surprised when it loaded my prologue app for audiobooks on there too.

I believe you can only do it through CarPlay or androids version. They are both built in though.
