How to split screen on 14" Multimedia display screen?

I believe you can only do it through CarPlay or androids version. They are both built in though.
Ah but not native! Both AA and Carplay require a connected phone. The built in OS does not. That is what the OP was referencing.

A native operating system (OS) is the OS that comes with a device, along with applications written specifically for that OS.

when using Android Auto I can go into the settings and you can select map or audio close to driver side. I have Audio close to drive and Map on the other side
I can split screen with android auto, map on one side, but where can you change settings to put the radio on the other side. Seems to only want to display any music player like YouTube Music that's reside t on your phone.

Yes, I have only seen a music player displayed in the split screen. I do not believe you can have map on one side and radio presets on the other.

I wish you could "turn off" the map in AA when not navigating and just have the music displayed on the entire screen
