Where are all the Tacomas in Dallas Fort Worth? Texas?

I picked up my off road on Friday Feb 16th and to this day have not seen another 2024 Tacoma on the road? That includes a drive from Plano (North of Dallas) to San Antonio to visit my mom. Zero, Zilch, Nada! I see tons of 2nd and 3rd Gen Tacomas daily, but not another 2024? Where are y'all? In recent weeks I have seen at least 6 to 8 Cybertrucks rolling around Plano & Dallas.

I'm in San Antonio; I've seen 2 other 4G's on the road.. several dealerships in the city with lower model stock.. but at the end of the day I don't see many people being able to afford or willing to shell out 40k+ for a mid sized truck when the interest rates are high. I think the DC in Houston has about 300 or so just sitting around.

I get that they are not inexpensive but the Cybertruck is quite a bit more and to see so many of them and not Tacoma's is interesting...I mean daily you can see 10-20 2nd and 3rd gens they are everywhere! All the 2024 mid size truck are pretty expensive!

Mine's a blue crush ORP; picked it up from Cavender mid April. They have another BCM but it's either a SR5 or a sport.

There's an Ice Cap TRD Off-Road in my garage. I live in Dallas proper. I saw seven '24's yesterday.
They were on the dealership lot when I picked mine up.

Austin checking in, I've seen a few fourth gen's rolling around. I think contributing to it (similar to what was mentioned) is that the dealerships in the area have ridiculous add ons and mark ups especially early on. Even now you can find better deals nation wide rather than state wide. I got mine last month in CO and drove it back. I also agree I've seen alot of cybertrucks rolling around...definitely an Austin/Tech thing I guess.

Just hit 4 months in my Off Road! Love it and knock wood, no issues as of yet! Have definitely seen more 4th gens and Cybertrucks. The Hybrid should be hitting soon. I think we will see more TRD Pros being sold than people think!

Just passed 4k miles.. I think 2 months in now? Time is going by fast. TRD Jon hit 10k miles until his first issue (shutter I think). I'm also starting to see a few more, almost at least 2 or 3 daily. I don't do the Jeep thing though.

I can't remember exactly which Austin dealership had the worst but I came close to buying from Cedar Park; but that dealership had terrible communication and refused to budge on the price; ended up being able to get a dealership here in SA and one in Corpus to fight each other on pricing for the same spec'd truck.. ended up buying locally to save on the trip to Corpus.
