Finish the TRD Pro look!

I want to but it’s really hard to get my hands on the heritage grille. Dealers don’t have them in stock or if they do they don’t ship them and retailers have a long lead time on them. I will get it eventually when they are more easily accessible

Good looking truck. The poke isn't too much, it looks perfect. I want to get the same 305 wheels in +25 offset but I plan on wrapping them with 35x12.50 and this is making me feel better about not having too much poke. Your 305s are about 1/2" narrower than the tires I would get.
Ya I was debating on 35x12.5 but I opted for 305s for the weight savings. I might try them when it comes time to replace my current tires. Post some pics when you have them on, I would love to see the difference. It’ll help me decide my next setup

For sure. Should get the tires and wheels swapped out next month. Just deciding which shop I want to have do the work. I'm getting the mickey thompson baja boss A/Ts and unfortunately they don't offer in a 305/70. They do offer it in a 305/65.

These tires are pretty heavy so we'll see what hit I take with the MPG. But fortunately my company pays for my gas which is why I'm going with 35s and to hell with MPG. If I end up leaving the company and have to pay for my own gas, I may eventually dial it down to 295s 😂

Looking forward to see your build, super excited for you. I’m sure the more aggressive setup will make you not mind the mpg loss. I was also debating 285/75 but I’m glad I went with the wider 305/70. I think the wider tires make a huge difference in looks and I think it would look even better with 12.5

Just got the truck back from Wescott Designs and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome!

MODS:
Westcott Designs Preload Collar Lift Kit
Nitto Ridge Grappler 305/70/17
Method 305 17x8.5 +25
Gloss black wrap on the roof and A pillars
Blacked out front emblem
Tailgate letter inserts
Tinted all windows

Have a couple other mods in mind also

What is your ride height with this set up to the top of the fin? I'm about to do this set up and wondering if it will still fit in my garage.

I’m thinking about the collar lift. How does it perform on and off road?

Your tire “poke” and the stance are perfect!!! Nicely done.

I just picked up new 2024 TRD Off-Road and will be ordering a set of Method NV 305 +25 offset wheels and Falken Wild Peak 285/75/17 tires.

I am curious if Westcott Designs has any authorized installers in the SoCal area.

I was thinking of taking my truck to 88 rotors and i live in northern california! They have a channel on youtube and they do a lot of the westcott lift kits and method wheels. I wanted to go to a shop that had experience with the new gen Tacomas and they definitely do. But then I ended up going with a 4 wheel parts store that I saw also did some Tacomas. I did a westcott pre collar lift kit, method wheels and mickey thompson tires. Out the door was $4,400 to give you an idea...

Owners will spend roughly $4k to have the mods completed that you mentioned.

Remember to post some before and after photos!

I have an appointment at 88Rotors next Tuesday for the WestScott collars, Method 305’s and Falken Wildpeak tires. They have 20 years of experience but unfortunately don’t have an alignment rack.

88Rotors appointment was completed about a month ago.

Here is the finished look with Westcott Designs collar lift, Method 305 17” x 8.5” +25 offset wheels and Falken 285/75/17 tires.

OEM crash pads are still intact and aftermarket RokBlokz mud flaps (not in photo) do not rub.
