So bummed. Im so careful on where I park (at least for now. Only had my trucks for a couple months) Glad the Underground color covers it well. I have someone coming out Tuesday to see what they can do. I’ll report back.

anyone have any experience with these door ding repair places? I’ve never used one. The guy coming out has great reviews with before and after pics. I guess it’s worth a shot.

Ouch, that's gotta suck. Can't say I'm surprised, folks in LA don't particularly care about cars or I should say that they don't care about dinging other people's cars.

I used to live in San Marino, CA in 2009 (a year after I bought my Taco). So I made sure to park FAR-FAR away from everyone and yet somehow someone still manages to park next to me and dings my door. In the 3 years that I lived in LA, I've had 3 dings (2 on the door and 1 on the rear bumper).

It wasn't until I moved back to Houston that a friend of mine (who works at a body shop) was able to "pop" the dings out and restored it like new.

Oh so you know how it goes.
It’s actually unbelievable how much people don’t care here in LA/OC.

It’s good to hear your positive outcome. I’ve never had to use a body shop / ding repair. Tuesday will be my first time 🤞

Thanks, it felt like I had to bubble-wrap my truck wherever I parked in LA. Folks there just don't care, I literally had to yell at a guy like "seriously, you have to open your door that wide and ding me just to get out?!?!" Things were a lot better at the Americana in Glendale. At least people there cared enough about not dinging other people's cars since they drive nice cars themselves.

I hope the person who comes out Tuesday to fix your dings is an "expert". The reason why I said that is; the ding on your upper/middle door is fairly easy to "pop" back out. But the one on the lower part of your door where it's at the edge is a little bit more difficult to pop out. If it pops out too much, he'll have to ding it back down where it bends. Anyways, best of luck!

I was thinking the same thing. Those lower one looks difficult.

I appreciate it. I’ll report back with the after pics.

A good PDR tech should be able to fix it?

Definitely look into paintless dent removal. It’ll be the most cost effective option and look 99% new

No problem at all. Even a decent guy can get those back to normal. I hate door dings. I had about 3 or so on a different car and it cost me $150 cash and the car was back to new and could not even tell. One of mine even had a little nick of paint missing and he polished it out. You will be good it will be a matter of what he charges.
