Love driving my truck everyday jbl premium sound is great with the subwoofer behind the rear seat. Today I used my portable speaker at work all day it didn’t die on me. Just sucks to see how much you guys paid and what they got me for. 47 on sticker 51 on the lot 62 out the door.

Next time your at the look out on the 74 palms to pines think of me. Go enjoy that truck in Johnson Valley! Do a lil king of the hammers! I miss that area dearly i own 4 acres off of the 62 old women springs road just west of Johnson Valley. Ocotillo Wells south of you is another place I wish I could drive the 4G Tacoma. Take that 74 (stop at the look out over lake Elsinore )all the way to San Juan Capistrano! Go drive that truck on the sand in Pismo beach. I miss California! Don’t sweat what you paid price is very different regionally. Just enjoy! Life is way too short!

Thank you turbotruck I’ll do that 74 for you in a few days going to San Diego I’ll drive safe on those turns. Hopefully I get to hit ocotillo after my wheels and lift come in.

I just picked up a 2024 Off-Road in Solar Orange in SoCal for $1600 under window sticker. I also got the salesman to waive the $1995 “window tint and tire insurance“ ADM bullsheet.

We all have different negotiating skills.

Yes, you overpaid CValley but in the end if you love it then that's what's going to matter. If you intend to keep the truck for 8+ years you'll be fine. If you're financing then I would advice since you did pay a bit more OTD to pay it off as quick as possible. Higher OTD cost = more interest obviously.

OP, hope you enjoy your truck. Honestly, I don’t understand why anyone would bash the OP, he even says it was marked up in the title. He got what he wanted and is happy. A good ending, imo. BTW: Turbotruck!, I negotiated almost 2x your negotiated discount. Just saying, there’s always someone who did better. Let’s all just be cool, eh?

Right on SilverSurfer! Let’s flip the script and make this a warm welcome for a new 4G owner. It’s a shame I’ve had to “own” a few low IQ individuals for saying dumb stuff in various threads. Maxx I admit to what I paid many people here have been asking on threads what we all paid that’s why I wanted to do this post. Some states people like me make half of what I get paid and do the same exact job. Low IQ people own a far most expensive truck than mine that’s for sure and they don’t ask for discounts because low IQ people work hard for their money that’s why we can walk up to the dealer and slap them with that down payment.

It also depends on where you're located. I can tell you that in New England, they are selling well, and if you see a discount, there's always a catch. Usually, you have to take their financing or agree to something else that benefits the dealer. In Texas or California, it's a completely different story.

Congrats on the new rig @Cvalleytacoma ! Look great. I so wish I had the JBL system. Base system is weak

If you are happy those dealer insurance products, that’s cool but you have typically 30 days to get a full refund on any and all of those insurances that you purchased. Just mentioning in case you wanted to go that route.

I’ve heard both base and jbl, jbl is marginally better. You’re not missing out.

@SilverSurfer those are the things that I enjoy on my 4g along with that cold weather package steering wheel and shift nob does look much more elegant and nicely stitched than the non leather. To me that’s what makes my truck worth what I paid it’s the drive and feel. I love that power rear window makes it a little bit more fancy to open all 5 windows at once.
