Came across a post on Facebook where someone out amber lighting inside the hood scoop. Refreshed Facebook and now I can't find it anymore 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Is the owner on this forum or does anyone have any information? I'm looking to do the same but it would be nice to know what lights they used exactly. It looked great.

And I wouldn't buy a 4th gen without the scoop, so I obviously don't agree.

I will never understand why people feel the need to put down other people's trucks online, I guess it is a change of pace from telling kids to stay off your lawn. :)

Or he is just sharing his opinion which obviously isn't allowed these days unless the opinion is the same as yours. I think they call it the "snowflake" generation. :)

BTW I like my Sport hood with fake scoop or whatever you call it.

I'm definitely not a snowflake, just ask my friends. lol I never back down from a fight but comments like that derail valid argument's all the time online. It isn't that his opinion isn't allowed, but that it was provocative and totally off topic.

I personally don't give a rat's ass what he thinks about the hood scoops. But as a moderator on another forum I am constantly amazed how some people seem to live to put things down.

He doesn't like the hood scoop - who cares? What did that stupid comment add to this thread?

If you are a moderator then you should know that only about 5% of all comments actually "add value". The rest are opinions and baseless "entertainment". There is an ignore button or a scrolling wheel on your mouse.

Again BTW when you find a good solution for the Raptor lights I am also interested. There I added value with my post and this thread.

Not trying to start a fight but we seem to live in a world where we are defined by what we don't approve of, rather than what we like. For some bizarre reason internet forums often turn perfectly reasonable people into babbling idiots.

But a thread started to gather ideas about what sounds like a cool upgrade deserves on point replies, which I was interested in reading.

You are right that the correct response is to just move on and ignore the haters and I will "unwatch" this thread and let the children play.

I love my sport hood and think it gives a really aggressive look to the truck. The raptor lights in the scoop sound like a really cool upgrade. Following hoping someone provides an answer. I will add it to my ever growing list of future mods. Spent a lot of money getting a truck and now I can't seem to stop spending even more money on it.

@Kielly Could this be the scoop lightbar you were talking about?

Idk if I would install this on my Taco. With headlights, a lightbar, fog lights and possible ditch lights, I think that's bright enough to see anywhere. But if you were to add additional scoop lightbar too; I think aliens in space can see your truck. 💡👽

No that's not the one. It's just simple amber lights, I'd imagine something like this

Looks really nice in the hood scoop from what I seen, and it'll actually make it somewhat functional 🤣

Guess that makes sense but if you really want your truck to stand out amongst the crowd perhaps installing the Knight Rider "KIT" strobe lights inside the hood scoop (it's both functional and cool looking).

That'd be quite cool actually lol, doesn't seem like Amazon Canada is cool enough to stock it, I'll check it out, I plan to do the Amber's on the grille anyways.

Agree! Some people just can’t have a civil conversation without some derogatory name calling. I know who started this trend but I won’t go there on this site.
