Any modifications to make them fit such as removing the crash bar? Looks good.

No modifications needed, these 285's (32.8" diameter) fit nicely with a decent amount of room to spare. Thought about going a little bigger, but then I wanted to make sure there was room if I ever need snow chains, or to help avoid something getting lodged in the wheel wells if I run over something.

Sr5? I don’t think these would fit on an SR?
If the stock suspension height on the SR is the same as the SR5 (I'm assuming they are) then you would have no problem fitting them.

Nice. Can we get a perfect side view right down the side so I can see how much it sticks out? Only thing from keeping me upgrading yet. I want totally flush and have not found the perfect wheel and wheel offset yet.

Checking to see if you decided on wheels and (sizing). I'm in the same boat as you.

Nope still haven’t found what I am looking for. Everything seems to poke. I may just go get a set of TRD Pro all black wheels during Black Friday. Problem with that is all my local dealers SUCK and never discount and the far away ones that do want like $1000 for shipping which is absurd.

I see a lot of guys on Taco 4G forums over-complicating this whole "poke" or "no poke" issue.

It's all math. Assuming a wheel tread width of around 11" on a 17x8.5" W wheel, you need your wheel at least +40 ET to be close to flush with the outside fenders. Anything less and you will poke (~3/4" more every 20mm less). You will REALLY poke at 0 or at a negative ET.

I believe the stock Tacoma wheels are like +54 ET or close to it.

The wide 285 contact patch will definitely affect fuel mileage.

I believe the OEM wheels have an +55 offset.
