My truck sees driving on the road and on the sand and they perform great on both. The truck handles well and they are on the stiffer side than my old jeep was. But not so stiff that your teeth rattle out.
Those would probably work on my taco but not on my jeep or daughter’s civic. Too symmetrical. Anyway don’t think it’s a waste of money. They prefer to hack out your cat these days.
Better tell this to the thousands of mechanics and tire shops that can’t get them off with all the tools and time in the world. I’m not doubting what you’re saying, just that it may not be that easy as that.
Aside from the CV joints, there are many machine services, and non-coated hardware throughout that seem to have coded themselves nicely with rust.

I had them swap the TPMS sensors. I think if I had the dealer do the swap, it probably wouldn’t have been that big of a deal. But because I went to a third-party place, I had to pay extra to dismount the old tires from the old rims to get the sensors off.
Here in New York the whole thing cost...
