Yes, that's why the wheels are larger, but I mean this prototype has Falken Wildpeak AT3's and the production gas models have BFGoodrich Trail Terrain.
Interesting that they put different tires on the hybrid. I wonder if that will be the case for the production models or if they were trying a bunch for the prototypes and those were left on it.
For some peace of mind: the SAE standard that manufacturers use to determine the rating includes the following tests (that I can remember - I may be missing some):
1) Minimum acceleration requirements
2) Minimum braking requirements (without trailer brakes - the vehicle has to be able to safely...
I suspect the OEM one could be added after the fact, but I wouldn't expect it to be available as a standalone part/kit for the first year or two because they'll be sending all of the part production to Mexico for new vehicle builds. Lots of aftermarket available - look for proportional control...

Tax varies by province, so it makes sense to talk about the MSRP. GX550 Signature is $83500. I expect Land Cruiser will be around $73500. Probably about $2k higher than the Tacoma Limited.
I think you're a couple grand short. From what I could tell, the hybrid has a couple more options snuck in that don't appear on the specs for the gas model: underbody protection, 18" wheels and tires, in addition to the SDM that you've already included. Also consider that the SDM is like...
