I'm making an 800 mi drive home from Vegas to pickup my Trailhunter in September! Over/under my tranny solenoid shits the bed on her maiden voyage?
Man I feel bad for OP. Hope your TRD Pro is flawless for the remainder of it's life 🙏
So your TH had a build date of May 14th correct? I guessing by now there are owners who've had a later build date and (perhaps) also taken delivery - but you're still waiting? What does this mean for QC issues? Confined to some of the early builds, or would you think it's just randomly sitting...
The TRD Pros can option this scene lighting package, correct? If so, the claim by your dealer that it's done at port doesn't sound bogus to me. Usually PIO are widely available tho. Or soon to be...
perhaps it ate into your clear coat a bit, but probably not it's likely just riding on the surface. Calling Toyota probably a waste of time, I would get a Mr. Clean Magic eraser and *gently* work those stains out. If you have a polisher like a Milwaukee M12 could pickup a set of foam cutting &...
what trim are you running it on and do you have the high output inverter?
On the Trailhunter, it'll apparently kick on & off as needed. time stamp 14:12
Title. Let's see the kitchen setup w/the big daddy inverter cooking up dinner!
Especially exited for wintertime stealth camping /generator mode / seeing what a propane-less setup will look like here-forward...
My TH delivers in September/ camper in October...
not early at all for 2025 wishes....back in the day 2024s were sitting on lots in '23.
Today, bros be calling every damn dealer within a 13hr drive to secure the vehicle they want, PRE-SOLD, some w/ADMS and/or added dealer zhuzh-it-ups $3K minimum
Yea underground is a great color w/the bronze...a potential xtra cab variant on the TH & PRO trims would be 'something' I have to admit...Picking my long boi TH in Vegas in September. The proportions & wheelbase on this pic have me thinking -hopefully* - what R&D is also thinking for 2025 &...
shouldn't the back seats fold down in the hybrids versus bench folding up? Or maybe the standard tacos do both on both 60/40 sections? There's a good number of hybrids on the ground...where's the deep dive on the back bench?
I'm saying despite a premium taco running ~75K out the door w/tax & fee & paying for public transit (yea I will owe ~$700 in light rail tax on my Trailhunter)...resounding yes, it's worth it. Was considering a Cybertruck in '19, and was considering a Rivian R1T for a long time, still drool over...
I noticed Trailhunters were added to the system even during the beginning/middle of the QC hold. I've called a bunch of dealers and their experiences are that the inventory site can be late to update a lot of the time. Also, presold/reserved vehicles can be manually removed entirely from the...
how has your rearview relocate performed thus far?
if you ever had a warranty issue with your digital rearview display, would you need to revert cameras back to the factory location on the cab spoiler & revert wiring and remove the topper or would the dealership diag & service as-is you think?
In the event of bed scene lights malfunctioning & requiring complete sections to be removed, can we conclude any future TH owner who mounts an overland rack, camper or gear to the bed rails needs to first remove all gear before taking it into the dealer for servicing?
Yea they're just lights...
yea I'd probably use industrial velcro bolstered w/some EVA when I take delivery until Toyota has a fix or an aftermarket snorkel with a legit prefilter becomes available. I do like the look of the TH snorkel. I don't fjord big creeks so just Baja & Moab dust is my concern
So for the sake of washing / heavy rain storms w/the truck outside in the wild, what's your plan to keep moisture out with the high intake? You'd want to remove it regularly to clean the intake line, so something like a industrial velcro, etc?
Does the intake allow for water to drain? Is the...
