She's hilarious.
The reviews from the reputable YouTubers that have been reviewing cars and trucks for years are, on the whole, pretty darn good. This really does look like a tough little truck.
I've always felt like Toyota puts all their energy and effort into building a truck that's going to last basically as long as you want it to last. This comes at the expense of things like in this thread. Asymmetric gaps, trim pieces that aren't flush, inexplicably no driver's side oh s***...
I hear you. I just try to remember that even new vehicles are imperfect things. That certainly doesn't mean it wouldn't bug me either. And it's stuff that you can easily gloss over when taking possession of the new truck...your brain is probably going a million miles per hour because you're...
In this video, the guy takes off a wheel and tire and weighs it at around 9:46 in the video.
65.4lbs for the stock wheel/tire combo on the TRD OR.
This is a great video to watch, btw. Shows how good they've made this OR package compared to the previous generations.
I have a 2022 Forester as well. Just know that you're coming from a car that has probably the *best* visibility out there, so anything you sit in, that lack of visibility will be magnified quite a bit.
I'm not sure I agree with that. Plenty of UOAs of the factory fill out there showing high concentrations of moly in the samples. If the samples are pulled correctly, halfway through a drain process, then those are dissolved in the oil.
I love the higher stance of the '24! Unless I've read it wrong, the '23 OR has a ground clearance around 9.4" while the new '24 OR is at 11.0". I love that...
I've heard that while there isn't any such additives, there's a lot of moly and good stuff like that from assembly lubes etc. I wouldn't want to dump those out too soon.
I think I saw it did, and it has to be connected to something to turn it off... that it can't be done through normal means etc. Might have been a thread on TW about it.
I wonder what the odds are that you can get the factory lift in the 6MT from the factory and without having to add it on later. Anxiously awaiting this in the builder on the Toyota website.
At the same time, the OR package with the bigger diameter pistons (36 to 46mm) and the piggy back oil...
Hasn't the 2.4L Turbo been in the Lexus already for a couple/3 years?
And speaking of the gas engines mentioned above, as old and outdated as it is, the 4.0L V6 in the 4Runner may be one of the last port injected only engines ever offered again...for one more year? I had a 2016 4R. That...
