I hear what you're saying, but if you go to the bank to buy US dollars, or you buy something on a US website, you're paying 1.36 to 1.38 exchange rate today. If any company prices a product in US dollars and then "sells it" to their Canadian subsidiary, is it any different? This is why...
If you compare Canada-US Tacoma pricing apples to apples against the actual exchange rate, Toyota is swallowing eight to ten thousand dollars on every Tacoma they sell up here. Canada prices are only 14-17% higher than US, where they should be about 36% higher.

I just did build and price on my 2024 TRD Off Road 6 speed manual and the price jumped $2,519. On closer inspection, it automatically added 5 year/100,000 km extended warranty. When I scrolled back up and unchecked the box, the price dropped back to what it was when they released pricing a...
I drove a friend's 1990 Toyota pickup and it felt like you were sitting on the floor. I test drove a 98 Tacoma and it was no different. If they have improved this for 2024 it will be decades in the making lol.
The configurator is not matching the photo with your build. I built a 5' bed and this photo is clearly a 6'. And the interior photo shows the 14" screen and I selected the base package with 8" screen. I'm sure they will correct it eventually.
I had a $500 refundable deposit down for a 2023 Access Cab. Toyota just told the dealership it won't get built, so I rolled the order over to a Double Cab TRD Off Road with 6 speed manual.
