Realtruck just cancelled mine due to being backordered with an unknown ETA, figured that might happen as not even 3D Mats themselves have their own mats in stock.
Yes, there will always be a tradeoff for each material. Neoprene pretty much negates the ventilation, especially considering the seats are not air-conditioned. For heat transfer, the seat warmers will work eventually but the neoprene also prevents your body from transferring heat to the porous...
Oh boy, I was going crazy trying to figure this one out. For their 3rd gen installation video, they have bungie hooks going down both sides. I had no idea how to connect the bungie from the inner side of the seat, yet I had no idea what that doubled over part was for either. Thanks, I will give...
@Drakka01 I found the headrest cover a little awkward as well with that flap, but I figured there was a reason for it. I like your color choice. I agree with the overall fit, good but not perfect- I am thinking that will be the trend for many accessories coming out right now as mfrs race to get...
The one resource that helped me tremendously was the dealer allocation sheet on these forums, which gave me an idea of markup, allocations per dealership, shipping status, pre-orders, and at least a place to start digging for the exact build I was looking for. In Southern California, a lot of...
Alright guys, took one for the team and decided to order a set of relatively pricey seat covers without any reviews. Here's my take:
First off, if you have a Costco membership, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Costco sells the Coverking custom covers at a significant discount, and the...
I've had this same issue for weeks, gave up figuring it'd work itself out. I've heard Toyota app support is relatively responsive for this kind of thing, just haven't had the time.
Looks like the first aftermarket mats came up for the 4g, 3d MAXpider. I have no previous experience with them but seems like their previous products are well-reviewed by others. I ordered a set and will give an update as they arrive, was trying to decide if I should wait for the Husky liners to...
I’ve seen Screen Protech mentioned quite a bit with 3rd gen folks. Pricey but one of the few available, they also sell both matte and clear protectors for the 4th gen.
Thanks for the update @Dongar, that is exciting and I know some 3rd gen folks as well who would appreciate that option. I'll be keeping an eye out for the product. Always happy to support a fellow Californian ;) I picked up my TRD OR last week!
I think if there is an easy way to access "always...
I did not take pictures of the 4 clips, which I regretted the second I reinstalled everything. Based on the videos, for some reason I thought these were side clips which could be pushed inward using the panel tool- they're actually pyramid-shaped clips which snap upwards into holes located...
First time poster, long time lurker. Just wanted to add my setup and experience as I know the information is still limited. The information from @zzdelta above was very helpful.
I ended up going with the Viofo A229 Pro, which I purchased from BBMC as Amazon didn't carry the 1 channel version...
