While my dealer told me not to expect my TRD OR until at least April, I noticed an update on the allocation sheet. My VIN never had an ETA before. Now it states an ETA of 03/15. I'm trying very hard not to be overly optimistic... 😒

The truck in question is likely allocated to a dealer in Oregon. I assume JHTeacher secured that allocation by placing a deposit and is awaiting its arrival to the dealer in Oregon so he can travel there to pick it up.

Thing is, unless I totally don't understand tire measurements, the spare is basically full size. A 265/70R17 is 31.6" in diameter while a 245/75R17 is 31.46" in diameter. That's a difference of 0.14". The bigger difference is in the tire width. The 265 is 10.4" wide while the 245 is 9.64"...

My dealer seemed to think there was an issue with Port Installed Options. Now, rather that meant that they were short of parts, or had some installation issues, who knows. It at least sounds plausible. My hold was estimated for approximately 45 days.
