After a long weekend, I went to start the truck this morning and was greeted by the warm glow of dashboard warning lights and a cold engine. What's peculiar is that I didn't turn the truck on all weekend. Dropped off the truck this AM (11/4/24). Waiting to get a call back from Burien Toyota...
Are you able to get them from Discount Tire? If so, they have a satisfaction policy where if you dont like them, just bring them back and switch for what you want, just pay the labor and difference in tire cost
In MY experience.....yes. But it seems like there is some inconsistencies with peoples experiences. For myself, I was looking for more than zero rub. Effected MPG, road noise, and turbo strain all played a role as to why I downsized to 275's.
I was also experiencing slight rub at full turn while in reverse, and slight rub at 80% turn going forward on a slope. Switched to 275's and all good now.
@tacorancher , Check out the update!
As to your RokBlokz question, I've never had either of those brands before so I couldn't really comment on the difference, but I really like how these look and how easy they were to attach.
Is anyone having any luck trying to get the tabs undone from the bezel of the roof unit? I think I'm doing something wrong and I'm afraid of snapping them. Any tips?
yeah idk wtf is going on.....would spacers help? I'm trying to figure out anything that would give me a little extra clearance. I think for me, the best choice is to go to those 275's
Damn. I might need the change the kind altogether. I really don’t want to remove any crash pad or felt. I’m not sure if I'm doing anything different. Literally everything is bone stock.
Do you have a recommendation for a good C load tire that’s good for off road?
I actually don't know that. I didn't purchase the truck before it was built. My dealership had a "no deposits/waitlist" policy so I wasn't able to track the timeline or origin of the truck.
I'm glad you were able to get some answers though!
