Hybrid in the cold... battery preservation mode?

This right here. The system is operating as designed in that it will prioritize battery health over other functions.

    Tacoma Sport shudder / vibration

intrinsic vibration=New words I learned on my morning drive to work. If the vibration were truly intrinsic, Toyota’s design and testing processes would have identified it as a model-wide characteristic; all vehicles of the same model would exhibit the issue. Confirmation bias at its finest...

For the first time, Ford trucks are more reliable than the Tacoma. So are Ram. So are Chevy.

Yeah, it isn't always like this. This dink starts trolling and then claims innocence when they're called out. You know they're still checking this thread to see what else is being said. Well, sir, enjoy those spirited debates about which year 'blue is bluer' and knob-less touchscreens.

That guy was a tool. I decided to check out the Maverick forums—there's only one I found, though I’m sure there are more. How do I get rid of my allocation?

Asking about a refundable deposit has always been my first question. In some states, all deposits are required to be refundable by law. LIMITED Hybrid Max folks: How is the FT 4WD?

Not that I care what Edmunds thinks, but I would say their methodology is flawed. Additionally, outside the transmission issues, none of those issues apply to the 2024 model.

Damaged Receiver Hitch = Totaled 2024 Tacoma!

I've heard stories about vehicles being totaled due to excessively long wait times for parts, but this is unbelievable. When you think about it, the chances of an insurance company approving a frame repair these days are probably slim to none. With that in mind, 100% of frame production is...

    Active Grill Shutter

Aerodynamic efficiency and thermal management. When closed the shutters prevent airflow from entering the engine bay. Thermal management is one of the key reasons you can get almost 300hp from a 2.4L Turbocharged motor on 87 octane. Finally, emissions and fuel economy are also in play.
