Something about the proportions look off to me. Wheels/rims are too large I think. Also, that is a lot of poke. Thought someone posted 0 offset and it still had quite a bit of poke.
Looks like the stock TRD wheels are +45mm offset. Explains why anything less has so much poke.
It looks doable from a trim perspective, just a larger drop-in screen and different trim around the vents. It is another question whether it integrates with the dashboard screen since one is smaller than the other. I imagine it would, but you would probably need to know the order of dip...
Won't take long to find TRD wheels, whether OEM or aftermarket, given the volume of this truck for around $1300-$1500. If you have to roll $1395 into financing and you don't even get an extra set of wheels, that seems like a waste of money. To each their own though.
Fair. I'm lined up for a Limited, which I intend to stick with at around $65-67k. That said, if it is $70k, it is a pretty hard sell when the Denali Canyon is $64.4k and the Ford Ranger Lariat is $58.9k, both with more features (power seats, rain sense wipers, etc). Not to mention a Land Cruiser...
That is a tough comparison to make. The Hybrid Tundra includes the 12.3 driver display, whereas the gas does not. Think there are some other differences too.
I'm not sure the difference will be 7.9% overall for the Tacoma. That seems too aggressive. I think they eat the cost of the Sway Bar...
Will be interesting to see how many pros vs Limited's they produce. Once production starts on the hybrids, the allocation sheet should give a good idea.
Dealer said they put in my "order" for a white Limited. Whatever order means at this point. Probably into whatever allocation system Toyota Canada has.
I just messaged my dealer. They said for Limited, it will only come in Black, White, Underground, and Red. Only Black interior. Was hoping for Boulder interior. The curse of living in Canada strikes again when it comes to buying a Toyota.
Edit: add blue exterior for the Limited. No Boulder...
Any vehicle can hit QC. It could be a component in a batch of vins or it could be something cosmetic, like a panel that got a scratch from something or whatever. Regardless, better it is dealt with now versus having to deal with it under warranty.
It is why this level of detail of tracking a...
It's hard to say without an apples-to-apples comparison of two engines with similar components. You can engineer a gasoline engine to be more durable by using better components in the engine. According to Toyota, they have done that with the Tacoma's engine relative to the same engine in other...
They split the gas and Hybrid into two different models more or less, so the specs for all hybrid models come later. Poor marketing in my opinion.
The power tailgate is still referenced on the Toyota Tacoma hybrid page so it will come to those models. I think the HUD was mentioned when the...
Salesmen aren't usually up to speed on what will be available. From what I've seen, most are quoting only what the gas models include and not considering the hybrid model.
They haven't released full specs for Limited, Pro or Trailhunter. I imagine the digital mirror and hud will come on those trims. Regardless, making claims one way or the other is just speculation for now I suppose.
It is because it includes the 2023 comparison on the same page. You can switch to 2023 models too, which is why it states 2023 models and not 2024. I doubt it will come on anything but the Limited, Pro, and Trailhunter in Canada.
