Right on the brink of canceling my deposit with by dealer and going back to Dodge. Far too frustrating that nobody can get any information on holds. Can't sit here waiting for a truck that hasn't even got an estimate of when it might be delivered.

Mine has just passed the 30 day mark since it was put on hold, so I'm hoping to see movement soon.

TRD sport

Has anyone who's Tacoma went to hold status had it start moving again? Mine was built 1/15, went to rail depart 1/16, and has been in hold status since 1/19. Dealership has no idea why, and can't get any indication on when it will move again.

Congrats.....mine is still being held in Mexico.

Mine in from Guanajuato was briefly on hold and now is in freight status.

One video I saw.......9 screws and less than 3 minutes to remove.

Our TRD Sport in underground is in freight status......just waiting for the call from our dealership.

It should be assigned a temporary VIN at allocation, and the permanent VIN once it's built. Some VINs can be searched at toyota-tracker.com , but that can be hit or miss (my truck is on it's way to the dealership, but still doesn't appear on the site). Only dealers have access to the Toyota...

Yes. They need to get them out of the plant lot, or else they'll have to stop production. So they'll move from plant, to ports, to distribution centers, but none will be delivered to dealers until whatever issue they're having is sorted. Mine was built last week, and made it to the railyard...

Mine has now hit the dreaded hold. Reached rail depart, and that's where it's going to stay until they get whatever issue (EPA or otherwise) straightened out.

August 2022 is a lifetime ago in the current rate market.

This morning was the first time I saw 2024 Tacoma's listed as "In-transit" in the public inventory search.......a whole bunch more showing "In Build".

Got confirmation from dealer this morning. My TRD Sport (ordered 12/16/23) has entered build phase.

The update I've been waiting for.......dealer says it's been allocated since mid-December, but only showed up in the public inventory search over the weekend.

I put a deposit donw on Saturday for a TRD Sport and dealer called lastnight to tell me they got it allocated.

Got the call this evening, my build has been allocated to my dealer. ETA 12 weeks.

Looking at allocations in my area.....plenty of 2024 models (65), but all short beds.
