Had my first chance to drive in snow/slush/ice. I put blizzak winters on mine and in 4WD it performed perfectly. Way better than my old F150. Really happy about it as I’ll be doing a fair bit of skiing.

I removed the air dam and ran for about 6 months with just the felt guard. All types of driving city and highway. No real off roading. Didn’t have any issues. I installed the RCI cross member and TRD skid plate a few weeks ago. It was fairly easy to install and has gone great so far.

I have a sport. I installed the RCI crossmember and the OEM TRD skid plate. Worked out great. Easy install.

Pretty typical for a rear wheel drive truck with no weight in the back. When there’s snow and ice you’re probably going to need 4WD

I put bridgestone Blizzak dm-v2’s on mine. Had them on my F150. Great truck winter tires. Waiting to see how much I have to use 4wd

I’m in canada. They told me I might be the first set in the country. Started talking to them in May.

I bought a set through my dealer.

Probably the same weights as the trd skid plate. I’m sure they’ll both work well

Absolutely. You have to buy two more bolts.

Mine leaked in a heavy rainfall. But overall it’s not bad in lighter rain. Good enough for what I need.

Do yourself a favour. Don’t talk to that guy again. Ever. About anything.

if you hold the talk button for a short period the toyota voice aid comes on. If you hold it longer the carplay siti voice aid kicks in.
