Had my first chance to drive in snow/slush/ice. I put blizzak winters on mine and in 4WD it performed perfectly.
Way better than my old F150. Really happy about it as Iāll be doing a fair bit of skiing.
I removed the air dam and ran for about 6 months with just the felt guard. All types of driving city and highway. No real off roading. Didnāt have any issues.
I installed the RCI cross member and TRD skid plate a few weeks ago. It was fairly easy to install and has gone great so far.
I just installed a TRD Pro skid plate on my Sport utilizing the RCI cross member. I had to buy 2 extra bolts as the sport only comes with 4 for the OEM felt guard.

I usually get about 19 in the city if Iām not really aggressive and around 22 on the highway. 24 I would say is the best I have seen. So not too far off the quoted fuel economy numbers.
I put wider tires on and it made quite a big difference. I bought narrower winter tires and probably noticed...
Iāve had my TRD sport since May. I figure this might be one of my last vehicles so I bought exactly what I wanted.
Only things I can think of that I think would improve the truck would be:
1. a couple of extra inches of rear legroom
2. larger gas tank. Although to be honest it hasnāt really...
