Mine doesn’t do it all of the time. But at least once it did what you described. But not completely. It seemed to hook up but with no volume. After shutting the truck off to go shopping it worked properly again

I went with the TRD black rims for my sport. I really like the look. Kept the OEM 18” rims for my winter tires.

I’m keeping my winters on the OEM rims with the OEM tpms sensors. I bought new TRD black rims and toyota tpms sensors for the summers. I don’t know yet but I think the programming between the sensors can be done in the dash screens.

Mine came with it. Not the typical cord though. Their own proprietary one with plugs into an outlet on the front bumper. I’m sure I’ll lose the OEM cord.
