I put the switch and quick connect in the data box in the bed that came with my truck. Not sure if it is part of the package or not. I have a hybrid offroad with upgrade package.
Here is a pic of it from underneath, you can get a better idea of where it is located. I used rubber washers on both sides. There is a very specific spot where it fits and I missed on my first shot. On the Hybrid there is a rubber grommet underneath right near rear driver side door that goes...
I was finally able to get to the install of my Rough Country dual compressor. I installed on bed between bed and body. The only hiccup I had was I couldn't get the Aux1 switch to work on it. I had power to the plug in the back, but couldn't get it to tune compressor on. Gave up and just used...
I am using the aux at the back of the truck for the switch and that is really convenient, but it is a dual compressor and needs to be wired directly to the battery. It would be almost plug and play if I had easy access to the battery. I was planning on mounting the compressor behind the rear...
I am going to be installing an air compressor in the bed and need to get power from the battery located under the rear seat. Wondering if anyone else has run any wires to the battery on the hybrid yet and if so how did you go about getting the wire to the battery compartment?
I have a hybrid Offroad and have only test driven the non-hybrid engine. But, the hybrid power under 3000 RPM is awesome. The feel and power that separate it from the standard engine is all in the low RPM range. The engine almost never needs to go above 3000 even when you want to quickly pass...
I just picked up my Off-road hybrid yesterday. I believe the battery kicks in up to maybe 2,500 rpm then turns power over to ICE. Doesn’t feel particularly fast as a drag racer, but has gobs of power whenever you need during normal driving. I love it!
This is the option using the builder on toyota.com. I had never seen the option include the air compressor until I saw the options for my truck. Hoping it is accurate, dealer know nothing.
I have a deposit on a TRD offroad iforce Max with the upgrade package. The description of what the upgrade package includes on my truck is different than what I see anywhere else. I am really hoping it is accurate, but wanted to ask if anyone had any information that might confirm what is...
