I am going to be installing an air compressor in the bed and need to get power from the battery located under the rear seat. Wondering if anyone else has run any wires to the battery on the hybrid yet and if so how did you go about getting the wire to the battery compartment?

I was researching because I'm going to be doing electric side steps. I came across this video. He installs an electric bed cover and shows how to access the battery under the back seat. Might be useful.

Thank you. That is helpful. I was hoping there was a shorter rout to avoid splicing.

I will be running cables for a plow setup to that compartment, I am hoping there is a plug under there by the battery as I assume there is to feed the cables thru, good luck, the only thing I could think of is the aux switch location at the back of the truck if the compressors does not exceed the amp's assuming it will.

I am using the aux at the back of the truck for the switch and that is really convenient, but it is a dual compressor and needs to be wired directly to the battery. It would be almost plug and play if I had easy access to the battery. I was planning on mounting the compressor behind the rear tire in between the bed and the body, seems to be pretty protected there and then short run to have the quick connect in same place as trail hunter.

There’s a large rubber grommet next to the battery in the floor under the seat. Used it to run power to my winch. Hard to access unless you remove the plastic around the seat base

This is exactly what I need. I looked briefly a few weeks ago and didn't see anything. Should be a pretty straight forward install. Thank you!
